In his freshman year of high school he placed in a Scholastic Art show, winning no money, 
glory or prestige from the accomplishment he was driven to enlist in the US Army after 
graduation. He spent four long years traveling the world as a combat engineer during this 
time he lived in Germany and Seattle, and he even survived Octoberfest in Munich surrounded 
by drunk Germans. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1996 with numerous awards 
and commendations. He Graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1999 with honors. 
He moved back to the Cleveland area where he found work as a graphic designer. At this time 
he attended pro wrestling School in 1999 and went on to work for numerous small independent 
wrestling promotions beating people up and causing as much carnage and blood shed as he 
could. He occasionally appeared on a local radio show to promote events. As a supervisor of 
security he has worked many special events including three Super Bowls, and a Mardi Gras. In 
2004 Jon released his graphic novel "The Heart Of Abracax, The New Apocrypha Book 1". In 2005 
Jon opened a one-man art show called "Gnosis Of The Pilgrim" featuring 28 watercolor paintings. 
In 2005 he paid for and was given an honorary Doctorate degree in Divinity from the Universal Life 
Church. In 2007-2008 Jon wrote a series of news and editorial styled articles for Pittsburgh Free 
Press. In 2009 he released an 11-issue comic book series called "The Nonstandard Assembly". 
He also maintains a web site featuring and promoting his work; www.jonnyaxx.com. Jon lives 
in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
